Seizing the future with our bare hands – this philosophy of the Zambelli brothers is still the foundation of Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH today. True to this motto, our company, which opened its doors in 1957 as a specialist for everything to do with metal roofs and façades, is completing its strategic transformation into a pure system supplier. This means we will focus on our core competencies going forward: the production and marketing of building envelopes and associated services. In the RIB-ROOF sector, we will therefore focus on close cooperation with architects, dealers and craftsmen. In consequence, we will discontinue all of our own installation services in the area of building envelopes as of 1 July 2018.
With our long-standing experience as a metalworking company, our broad expertise in project fulfilment and our continuous updating of know-how, Zambelli RIB-ROOF rises to every challenge in the area of metal roofing and façades. Between our humble beginnings as a small craftsman’s business and our evolution into a producer of an industrial system solution in the building envelope segment, our installation services have gradually diminished over time. Today, our customers benefit from broad know-how and many years of experience.
Adapting to the market circumstances
By shifting our focus to service and consulting, we are responding to changed market requirements and increased demand. “Going forward, the company will concentrate on the core product RIB-ROOF as well as increased services in the building envelope sector to continue expanding its consulting and product portfolio”, says Thomas Lanzerstorfer, Managing Director of Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH. This includes, among other things, services such as instructional installations, installation training, 3D measurements on construction sites as well as installation instructions for more complex projects such as for green roofs.
The reorientation will have only a minor impact on internal structures. “Our manpower will be invested increasingly in customer support; we now have significantly more resources available for handling quotations, logistics and project support, both at our location in Stephansposching and on our customers’ construction sites”, says Lanzerstorfer.
