The 26th UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow in November 2021 launched new measures against climate change. The construction industry also has to face up to its responsibility and future challenges. Especially for the so-called “COP26”, a house was built on site whose materials are all reusable and recyclable. The “COP 26 House” shows how a conscious building can look like in future. Because of its broad network and its conscious approach to the subject sustainability, the rainwater system made of copper from Zambelli was used – and was able to make a significant mark in the realisation of the project.

As a building material, copper is not only visually appealing, but is also one of the most convincing materials in terms of sustainability and can be described as particularly climate-friendly throughout its entire life cycle. Copper combines all the properties that consequently also reflect the Zambelli Group’s awareness of a responsible, effective recycling process!
