Description
So far, extra tools for clamping the workpieces had to be produced for sanding different sheet metal housings and component geometries, which was laborious and time-consuming. With the new grinding table, on which the clamping elements can be adjusted in the X-Y axis, this can be done very quickly and the clamping elements can be adapted to all components very quickly, easily and without tools. In addition, the height of the grinding tables can be infinitely adjusted to suit the height of any employee.
Jury opinion
Saver working, better-quality safety and healthier manageability for our employees made this idea a winner of the category process innovation.

Description
Gefach flaps, which are used by many shelfing systems, are made from two separate parts which get attached together by welding. The welding was made through drill holes. The electrode had to be lead through these drill holes. If this didn´t work, the metal sheet was bent and 20% were not usable anymore. We started to make tests by glueing these parts together, to get rid of the welding process. We brought the glued parts into a climate chamber, where they were put through an artificial ageing process, by alternating temperatures from minus 30°C to plus 70°C and a humidity of 80%, for a week, in order to get the maximum process safety. Afterwards, a destroying test was made, which showed that there were no binding problems.
By using this process innovation, the combining of parts is much faster than before and the unusable parts could be reduced to 0%.
Jury opinion
Due to the technical and procedural advantages, this idea is a winner of the Franz Grill prize.

Description
Compact solution / innovation of an existing Zambelli Lock mechanism.
The flap is opened by an electric engine after activating the flap lock. This offers the possibility to the customer to have a clean and smooth design on the outside of the caravan without flawing due to outside locks. You can activate the flap with various electronic switches (piezo, push button, remote control, …) depending on the customers wish. Thanks to compact measurements, this solution is mainly suitable for flaps that open on the upper sides, even if the lower loading sill is only 35 mm above the vehicle floor. The loading entrance area will stay the same size and won't be smaller. Of course, you have the possibility to open the flap with a rope pull in case of an empty battery. It´s also possible to build in the lock vertically and to switch an already existing lock mechanism with this compact lock.
Jury opinion
The clean design and the usability of the opening mechanism make this further development of our locks to a winner of this category.

Description
The aim of our project is to make the company more sustainable in various areas. Be it CO2 compensation, electricity reduction, correct waste disposal or the social well-being of our employees. Several small projects combine to make a big project. From organizing a sustainability day, installing motion sensors, sharing sustainable tips through screen films, planting a flower meadow, separating trash to integration of plants in all offices for more productivity. Projects like the sustainable day, the screen films and the integration of plants in the offices are already completed. Right now, we are waiting for the shipment of the motion sensors to complete this project.
We are also currently working on implementing the Zambelli trashcans, to properly recycle the trash.
The flower meadow can be seen as a little CO2 compensation, and we be a new part of Zambelli by the middle of October.
Jury opinion
The committed realisation, the importance of the "little things" for the big picture and the promotion of personal development award this submission the "Einfach machen." Award for sustainability.

Description
The actual oven paint has a solvent content of 52.4%. After several meetings and following tests, we have found a solution to change the paint. The new paint has a higher solid content. This has reduced the proportion of solvents required to 33.9 %. In addition, the consumption of paint is reduced by approx. 20 % due to the higher solids content.
Jury opinion
This idea deserves the “Einfach machen.” prize for the significant reduction in material consumption through obvious and long-term sustainable thinking.
