Austria’s largest ever art project, “For Forest - The Unbroken Attraction of Nature” was realised in 2019 the Wörthersee Stadium in Klagenfurt (www.forforest.net). Visitors marvelled at the show beneath a Zambelli roof. Around 300 trees covered the entire football field in the stadium during the exhibition. This temporary art intervention by Klaus Littmann was based on a drawing by Max Peintner and was mainly intended to address the manner in which people perceive nature and their future mutual relationship. The Wörthersee Stadium was built for the 2008 European Championships. It was constructed beneath approx. 1,000 sqm of RIB-ROOF sheets and is among the most modern stadiums in Austria.
