When the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials, and systems opens its doors from January 13 to 17, 2025, Zambelli will once again make a strong appearance. The open and inviting booth 325 in Hall A3 will feature a joint presentation of two business areas. Interested visitors can look forward to some advancements in roof drainage and building envelope systems. For the first time, the Zambelli HSF Ballast Tank will be introduced as a PV mounting system for flat roofs.

The key themes of BAU 2025 – climate-friendly construction, transformation, resource efficiency, and economic viability – are reflected in Zambelli's products and systems, which are designed for sustainability, material efficiency, and closeness to craftsmanship. Zambelli develops and produces products always focusing on optimal processability and fills system gaps for tradespeople. As one of the leading manufacturers of metal solutions for construction, Zambelli is using BAU 2025 to showcase its products to a wide, international audience. “Participation in the trade fair offers the opportunity to strengthen market presence, acquire new customers, and receive valuable feedback directly from installers,” says Managing Director Andreas von Langsdorff.

Roof Drainage: Proven Systems and Exciting Developments

Zinc remains the most popular material in roof drainage. Therefore, Zambelli is once again presenting its tried-and-true zinc drainage system. Easily recognized by the Zambelli compass rose, the system impresses with its practical three-point connection for easy processing. A highlight is the revamped hopper system, which will be showcased in various design variants. The square model with a three-part circumferential bulge stands out for its high-quality appearance without any disruptive edges, as the optimized 3D bottom sheet is embossed with the jacket. Additionally, Zambelli presents a new cubic variant of the hopper that combines modern design with high functionality and quality.

Well-known and popular products such as the fascia outlet, rainwater flap, and rainwater collector will also be exhibited, all contributing to sustainable and efficient roof drainage. The revision of the color-coated steel system Robust will be a special topic: The Robust range will receive a comprehensive system update and a new name, which will be presented to a wide audience for the first time at BAU. Besides the surface structure, many other details have been optimized.

Another innovation is the new HSF Ballast Tank, developed in collaboration with HUBER Solarfix GmbH. This system enables simultaneous mounting and ballasting of PV modules on flat roofs. A sample setup at the booth will illustrate the simple and well-thought-out click system.

Digital Tools

In terms of digitalization, Zambelli is also presenting exciting innovations: At the booth, visitors can test the product finder, which will be available in new language variants such as English, Czech, and Hungarian. Additionally, interested parties can assemble their individual sandwich panel gutter hook set using the new online configurator. For the HSF Ballast Tank, digital information offerings will be available alongside the sample setup.

New and Proven Solutions for the Building Envelope

In the area of building envelopes, Zambelli will showcase the well-known RIB-ROOF systems, including RIB-ROOF Speed 500 and RIB-ROOF Evolution, both characterized by their quick assembly thanks to the clip system and form-fitting profile rail connection. The RIB-ROOF Evolution, in particular, impresses with its slim profile rail bridge and patented roller clip technology, which ensures maximum sliding capability and better load-bearing capacity.

In addition to the Thermo-Z distance profile, which exhibits excellent U-values due to a special staggered perforation, the siding profiles will also attract attention. The siding panels in various widths are suitable for ventilated facades as a lightweight system. Thanks to system widths ranging from 250 to 500 mm and various connections and terminations, the panels offer versatile applications. A new siding sliding and fixed point clip rounds off the system. In the accessory segment, alongside the well-known solar holders, the solar pipe with clamp tabs for reducing fastening points will be introduced, as well as a new universal clip strip that can also be used for renovations due to its universal applicability.

A special novelty is the narrow gable covering, which combines a RIB-ROOF profile sheet with a gable closure. This solution not only saves material and assembly time but also provides an architecturally demanding appearance. The patented roller clip, which ensures particularly high sliding capability, will also be in focus. It offers an optimal application for the Zambelli acoustic roof.

For the Bavarian company, BAU is a home game and offers the ideal platform for networking with partners, customers, and industry experts. The opportunity to observe market trends and new developments in the metal construction sector also makes participation in the trade fair valuable.
